18 Mar – COVID-19 Updates

Due to the ongoing situation surrounding COVID-19, we have made the decision to change the dates of our event “Spring Break” and merge it with our other event “September Slammer” all customers who have currently booked Spring Break will automatically be transferred over to September Slammer. This decision has not been made lightly however, with the uncertainty surrounding current world events we believe this is in the best interest of our customers. In addition to these changes we have also decided to postpone our event “Mega Run” until August 2020. As it stands our Ireland Run event has been unaffected and will continue as planned for the time being, subject to further announcements by the UK and Irish Government.

 

These are challenging times for all industries especially us in the travel industry but we are trying to keep disruption to our trips at a minimum. The Cannon Run brings together customers and spectators from all over the world and their health and well-being is of the upmost importance to us along with the safety of our staff and partners.

 

We understand that our customers might have some questions regarding these changes so we have added a couple of FAQ’s at the bottom of this article to assist with your concerns. We will be releasing more information as it becomes available to us from the government daily so please check on our social media pages regularly for the latest news.

WILL IT BE SAFE TO TRAVEL?

We are constantly following information being provided from our own government and those across Europe to assess the risks. Please be assured that our customers health and well-being is our priority.

I'VE BOOKED SEPTEMBER SLAMMER AND SPRING BREAK WHAT HAPPENS NOW?

If you have booked both trips and paid in full we can use the credit from the spring trip against another event. This can be a trip from our 2020 season or our 2021 season.

I CAN'T MAKE THE NEW TRIP DATES, CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK?

Unfortunately as per our terms and conditions all our trips are non-refundable. However in this circumstance we are willing to transfer Spring Break customers to our September Slammer trip or you can use your entry fee as credit to one of our other trips.

Mega Run customers who cannot attend the new dates can also have there entry fee credited to another trip or to our Mega Run 2021 trip.

CAN I GET A REFUND?

Unfortunately as per our terms and conditions all our trips are non-refundable. However in this circumstance we are willing to transfer Spring Break customers to our September Slammer trip or you can use your entry fee as credit to one of our other trips.

Mega Run customers who cannot attend the new dates can also have there entry fee credited to another trip or to our Mega Run 2021 trip.
