November 1, 2024 – The Cannon Run proudly hosted Land Lords 4x4, a thrilling three-day adventure that took participants on an unforgettable journey through the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland, and Lake District.
Starting from Assetti Performance, owned by Shane Lynch, the convoy of 35 rugged 4x4s embarked on a scenic drive, showcasing the best of the UK’s natural beauty and providing participants with a blend of excitement, luxury, and camaraderie.
The first day’s drive concluded with a grand welcome at Low Wood Bay Resort on the shores of Lake Windermere. That evening, guests were treated to a private dining experience, featuring a gourmet three-course meal and entertainment in a luxurious, intimate setting, perfect for kicking off the adventure in style.
Day 2: Competitive Spirit and Outdoor Challenges
The second day began with a clay pigeon shoot, adding some friendly rivalry to the event, with Andrew Mohr taking home the Top Shooter title. After an elegant marquee lunch, the group headed to an archery range, continuing the theme of adventure and friendly competition. The evening brought everyone back to Lake Windermere for a private gathering at The Boaters Bar, where guests enjoyed exclusive entertainment and relaxed, knowing The Cannon Run shuttle was ready to transport them safely back to their accommodations.
Day 3: Lake Windermere Tour and Awards Celebration
On the final day, after a hearty breakfast, guests set off to explore Lake Windermere aboard ten self-drive boats provided by Land Lords 4x4, giving participants a serene yet exhilarating way to take in the scenic views. The event concluded with a celebratory dinner and awards ceremony, where participants were recognized for their standout contributions. Best 4x4xFar went to Ethan and his Urban Land Rover Defender, while Spirit of the Mountains was awarded to Team Deano.
