Two long years ago we purchased a beautiful 1993 Lamborghini Diablo, a world famous icon that sat on posters in multiple 90's kids bedrooms.
There's an old saying that goes 'never drive your dream' and let us tell you, not only don’t ever drive your dream, also don’t buy the dream either! 😆
This is by far one of the worst supercars we have ever driven, uncomfortable, terrible visibility, pretty slow and handles like an American. On top of all this, on arrival to our headquarters and some further inspection we found that the car needed FULL restoration (yes we sent a complete idiot to view the car on our behalf before paying for it).
So it began, the engine and running gear was removed by Sunny at BHP Performance (the godfather of Lamborghini) and then it was shipped to Darren at DC Customs for the full works starting with chassis restoration and then full body restoration!
WOW! what a guy, Darren absolutely outdone himself and the Diablo is now physically as good as new, the paint is perfection and the body is like glass.
The old girl is now back with BHP ready to have the rebuilt engine and running gear refitted before the final touches and her road trip debut!!
Now after all that slating in our opening paragraphs about how bad she drives and how poor the visibility was, we have to say, the looks, the style, the history and the memories she brings us - YES SHES WORTH IT!!
