We are delighted to share the success of our prestigious annual Land Lords, Return Of The Lakes trip that unfolded over the weekend.
Our family grew even larger as we welcomed Bowler, and our heartfelt appreciation goes to the entire Jaguar Land Rover team for their steadfast support of our latest overland event.
Day one commenced at the remarkable Assetti Performance in Cheshire, a testament to Shane Lynch’s automotive prowess. Departing from Assetti, our journey continued to Amari Supercars, an exclusive gateway stop at the entrance to The Forest Of Bowland. Gratitude extends to Sheik Amari and his team for their gracious hospitality in the opulent setting of their Supercar showroom.
Led by the all-new BOWLER rally Defender, our convoy explored the wonders of the forest and sought out picturesque water splashes before regrouping at the enchanting White Scar Caves in The Yorkshire Dales.
The day’s final leg guided us from the scenic Yorkshire Dales deep into The Lake District, culminating in our ultimate retreat for the day at the illustrious Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, selected for its reputation as the host of the UK’s second-best spa.
In the grand dinner rooms, a meticulously prepared three-course meal awaited our outdoor adventurers, fostering an evening of camaraderie around the fire with fine spirits and captivating tales.
Day two unfolded with a new adventure, featuring shotguns and bows at the esteemed shooting grounds of our friend Michael Coats near Lake Windermere. The group engaged in shotgun marksmanship and woodland archery, followed by leisurely exploration of the local area during a two-hour respite.
An exquisite private area at The Boaters Bar, overlooking the lake, played host to a delightful evening with fantastic cuisine and live performances before our return to the luxurious accommodations at Low Wood.
Day three dawned with anticipation for the final adventure, preceded by an exceptional breakfast. Our destination was The Quays at Windermere, home to self-driven cabin boats. Five electric-powered water cruisers awaited, offering a two-hour exploration of Lake Windermere before returning to the harbour.
Amidst the picturesque lake, the awards ceremony unfolded at a glass-fronted lakeside restaurant, extending sincere congratulations to all our winners and expressing gratitude to Jaguar Land Rover, Bowler, Shane Lynch, Assetti Performance, and Amari Supercars.
